The North Wales Way

This tour begins in Anglesey – the furthest away point but what a fantastic place to start to make your way along the rugged North Coast of Wales before heading back through traditional Welsh towns back in to England.
There are viewpoints galore and fantastic photo opportunities from the Menai Straits bridge, for example. For those interested in wildlife, how about spotting guillemots, puffins and razorbills? Anglesey is home to a World Heritage Site, interesting museums and pretty towns and villages.

Visit Wales’ most famous castle with other options for castle lovers along the way!
However, if adrenaline is your thing, don’t miss the opportunity to have a go on the world’s fastest zip line at 100mph / 160kmh! If you’re looking for water-based activities, take up the opportunity for watersports activities as well as tuition.

Enjoy the Victorian sea-side resorts along the coast offering lovely bays, walks along the coast or pier and fantastic viewpoints. Don’t miss the opportunity to ride on Britain’s only cable-hauled street tramway.
Along the route, you can choose from additional stops of National Trust Properties, beautiful gardens, traditional Welsh food centres and traditional fishing villages where mussels. the local delicacy are available to try.

Along the coast, visit a World Heritage town, a medieval castle and several historic buildings, and by contrast, Britain's smallest house!

Heading east, enjoy traditional border towns and visit parks and gardens and stop for local food and drinks at a traditional farm shop. If you’re after a treat, how about afternoon tea at a Jacobean manor? The route will take you through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the another historical and cultural town with red-bricked and black-and-white half-timbered buildings from medieval, Tudor and Georgian times.

Complete your tour at beautiful Llangollen, which nestles between the Berwyn Mountains and the River Dee. Here you will find plenty of fabulous things to see and do, including a Museum, a heritage railway, a horse drawn canal or cruise trip.

With walks galore, ruins and a historic home in the area you will be spoiled for choice for things to d
Our 7-night tour takes you along the coast with an opportunity to experience the highlights as you go or choose to de-tour as you go. A 5-night itinerary could be selected by bypassing a coastal town or the border towns.
